Adventurous Heart - Rachel Nagle | Porcupines Find New Obstacles to Climb @AdventurousHeartRachelNagle | Uploaded May 2024 | Updated October 2024, 10 hours ago.
African Crested porcupines are ground dwellers. While they can’t climb trees like Prehensile tailed and North American porcupines, they do enjoy climbing on obstacles low to the ground and even up stairs. I shouldn’t have been surprised then when my prickle of porcupines started climbing over the bags of sawdust flakes I had temporarily placed at the bottom of the stairs. They had so much fun exploring these new items in their environment!
