Moonloop is the first of several improv based pieces that would appear on Porcupine Tree releases.
Its first performance was on the Fall 1994 mini tour, where it was premiered alongside The Sky Moves Sideways (Phase Two). The track was a regular throughout both legs of The Sky Moves Sideways Tour, the May 1996 tour, the Signify tour and the Fall 1997 tour. The last performance was during the 1998 mini tour, where it was dropped early after just two performances.
This footage comes from a gig the band did in The Netherlands that was filmed by Delirium records for unknown purpose. It has never been officially released but has been circulated among fans.
