I collected these Porcellio laevis isopods in the Sonoran desert in Arizona, during my Sky Island Adventure of 2023!

Given the origin of this strain of P. laevis, I will refer to them as Porcellio laevis ‘Sonora Desert’.
From what I have been able to gather, these isopods are very well-adapted to arid habitats, and therefore could make a good cleanup crew isopod for arid Bioactive enclosures.
