UPDATE: Several staff members have came forward since the event and stated that Mr. Gleamings was giving false information.

According to former project leader and current staff member James Gleamings, Jacob O'fury has stepped down from Pirates Online Rewritten (POR) as project leader, community developer and forum administrator / owner. The project is currently in a unstable state and former project leader James Gleamings is attempting to regroup and organize at this time. The project has no plans to make any game progress until it is in a stable state. The forums at pirates-online-rewritten-forums.com most likely will not continue.

Ahoy, Johnny!
It came as a shock from me earlier to hear about the fact that Jacob had left Pirates Online Rewritten. We are currently in a state of nothing organised and not sure how to go forward.
Of course, I want my dreams from September to go forward, so I am currently attempting to regroup the team (Jacob closed our chat) and also the forums (he closed that, too I believe but it might be possible that Katnypp and other staff actually own it now), but that doesn't mean I will be reinstated as project leader. Anyway, would it be possible for you to inform in a video that we're going through some things currently and to keep tuned to find out what's happening. Anyway, that's what we'll be sorting out and then we will finish the game.
