As requested by FernandoPecheG, here's a rendition of "Dance of the Hours" with the Super Mario 64 soundfont.

The Dance of the Hours originated as a ballet scene in Ponchielli's opera "La Gioconda" but would go on to grow far more popular than the opera itself. Although its popularity in concerts has somewhat waned in recent years, it was once one of the most popular ballet scores ever written.
Even if it isn't actually performed as much nowadays, it still remains highly recognizable. One could argue that it was immortalized by its famous use in Disney's 1940 animated masterpiece Fantasia and, if that wasn't enough, the comical qualities of its memorable main melody have resulted in it being used as a basis for several parody songs as well.
