From the "Lost and Obscure Toys Department": Here's a commercial for a long-since forgotten product, Police Hot Cycle with Super Siren from Empire ("Toys Kids Love"). Can turn and spin and twirl - and most important, a siren (batteries not included and sold separately - does this mean the cycle itself didn’t come with the siren?) to indicate you're on your way.

[NOTE: This product, or rather the "Super Siren" itself, also appeared in ads put in various comic books of the period ("Available at All Toy and Hobby Stores!"), but other than that very little is known about this particular tricycle ("Fun for Boys and Girls!") and that add-on.]
This aired on local Boston TV on Friday, November 23rd 1979 during the 12:00pm to 2:00pm (Eastern) timeframe.
