Hey everyone! Here I am, finally back with another Pokémon remix! I think the last time I took on a main series Pokémon theme was way back in January with my Malie remix (although I did also do a collab with Brotad on Theme of Hope from PMD:Gates which you should totally check out! youtube.com/watch?v=t5wJKUNuK64), so this has been a long time coming. Apologies for not tackling a hot new track from US/UM, inspiration just blew by me so you all get a remix of a theme from last gen and one that I've already remixed, whether you like it or not!
The best time that I have remixing is when I don't even know what I'm remixing, which lets my own creativity flow into the work. I have the most fun starting something completely random and then working out what to do with it remix-wise. It's very apparent in a lot of my remixes, which is why they are mostly quite loose on the source. This remix is no exception. I started with a laid-back beat and soon, I decided to go with the Kalos Power Plant because I just love that opening riff, and I thought putting it on high piano would make for a chill remix. Then, I just rolled with the punches and adapted the melodies as I went! + sleigh bells = obvs Christmas and so here is my entry to the 2017 Pokémon Holiday Megamix!
