Polar Explorer at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Zhuhai, China is a Mack Rides water coaster located inside the park’s Polar Horizon section themed around Arctic exploration and conservation. The ride combines dark ride style indoor scenes with outdoor coaster sections, fast turns, and a large splashdown as riders travel through icy environments inspired by the polar regions. It gets overshadowed constantly by Parrot Coaster and the park’s massive aquarium attractions but it’s honestly one of the most complete family rides in the park because it mixes theming, coaster elements, and water ride moments all into one experience.
