Here's a time-lapse video of our WitmerLab team installing the polar bear skeleton (OUVC 9566) in the Ohio University Kennedy Museum of Art as part of one of the exhibit projects designed by the OU Museum Studies Class. The skeleton had been selected by the Museum Studies students, and our team had a fun time studying, repairing, and assembling it in spare moments last semester. Our installation team included the OU students who spent so much time last semester on the skeleton, such as JP Nassif, Lydia Giesige, Emily Caggiano, and Joshua Krech. Special thanks to Museum Studies student Vicky Kent for her leadership and her interest in this skeleton that allowed us all to get to know this wonderful old female polar bear so well! She's in a museum now!
