Sneasler is one of the new Hisuian Pokémon that got recently made available in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet with the Pokémon Home compatability update and this Pokémon has quickly proven to be massive problem in competitive singles, more specifically Smogon singles. Sneasler has already been voted on for a quickban twice and in both cases it got voted no ban. Although Sneasler is not banned, it is arguably the most controversial Pokémon in Gen 9 competitive singles by far.
But why is Sneasler so controversial?
