Having learned about Hidden Grottoes from Bianca, Rosa is ready to leave for Driftveil City. However, before she even reaches the Driftveil Drawbridge, she sees a rather interesting commotion. Charles, a celebrity figure, is blocking the path, and this appears to be causing some people quite a bit of headache... One such person appears to see that Rosa has the Bolt Badge on her, and suggests that she defeat Charles. The man in particular uses an unusual battle format called a 'Rotation Battle'. Will she pick up on the tactics and take the win?

Sigilyph, Archen, and Tirtouga:
The three Pokémon that Charles uses for his battles are Sigilyph, Archen, and Tirtouga. The first Pokémon knows Air Cutter, Psybeam, Light Screen, and Whirlwind, the second one can use Pluck, Agility, AncientPower, and Quick Guard, and the last Pokémon is capable of using Wide Guard, Aqua Jet, Ancient Power, and Crunch.
