Upon exiting the Driftveil Gym, Rosa is greeted by Hugh, who appears to have awaited her return. When Clay finds out that they know each other, he praises each of their skills before saying he wants to show them something. Hugh, however, asks him why he has forgiven the older faction of Team Plasma, as he believes they are all unchanging Pokémon thieves. This doesn't appear to convince the boy, but he appears to be pumped up when the Gym Leader reveals that the Pokémon World Tournament is happening soon.
