Here is the final part of the main storyline. I first bond with Director Clavell and get some useful items from him, then I stock up on items afterward. Before I head to the Zero Gate, I try to see if I can find a Ditto in the area. Upon failing to do so, I head on to the gate, which starts the final story arc, “The Way Home”, and meet up with Arven, Nemona, and Penny. Professor Turo has us looking for four research stations in Area Zero to unlock the Zero Lab. The group finds the first Research Station and has to take out a Glimmora to reach it (26:50), so I battle it with Nemona. I disable the first lock (29:37) and go through some research books. After a bit more exploring, we find the second Research Station (34:55), but a robotic Delibird appears, so I battle it with Penny (36:11). Once we enter, the Professor confirms that Pokémon was actually from the distant future, then I disable the second lock (39:40). Arven gives me the Violet Book and I read some more research notes before heading back out.
On the way to the third Research Station, falling down a waterfall (43:37) took me straight to the third Research Station. There, an Iron Treads attack us, so Arven and I defeat it (45:07). I disable the third lock (48:08) and I read some notes and rest up before heading back out. On the way down, I manage to catch an Iron Bundle (53:20) before viewing the second section of Area Zero (53:53). We eventually reach the final research station (59:18) and Professor Turo has some communication issues. I disable the locks (1:00:21) before heading back out. We eventually find the Zero Lab (1:05:44) and I open the gate to it (1:07:26), which makes another Miraidon appear and it screams at out Miraidon before going into the Zero Lab. Unfortunately, a bunch of Paradox Pokémon appear, so we have to take them out with Nemona (1:11:43), Penny (1:12:37), and Arven (1:13:41). Respectively, we face Iron Treads, Iron Hands (future Hariyama), and Iron Jugulis (future Hydreigon).
After that, I explore the area a bit, and I enter the Zero Lab and find Professor Turo (1:17:44), who explains that he is actually an artificial intelligence created by the original Professor Turo who has already passed away. He wants us to destroy the time machine to stop the future Pokémon from invading Paldea, so we head to the lower level, where AI Turo explains a few more things. Once we reach there, I place the Violet Book in the pedestal (1:26:14) to shut it down, which causes AI Turo to be taken over and forced to battle us. As we battle him, Professor Turo’s personality starts leaking out more and more. AI Turo uses a team full of Pokémon from the future whose levels are in the mid-60s, so I give Skeleridge a good amount of X items to easily beat them.
After defeating the it, AI Turo is completely disabled and is replaced by the Paradise Protection Protocol. As the battle begins, you can see it mention that “AI Turo has no intention of fighting any more”, confirming that AI Turo has been locked away. The Protection Protocol locks everyone’s Poké Balls except for Turo’s, so there its only one option left, which is to use Miraidon (1:37:58), who uses its full power to take on the other Miraidon. I use some X items to quickly boost Miraidon’s stats and quickly take the opposing Miraidon down with a Terastallized Tera Blast.
With its defeat, AI Turo is able to take back control and has some final things to say (1:43:41). He decides to go to the future, which is something the original Turo would have loved to do. Upon traveling there, the time machine is finally shut down (1:47:47) and the group goes home (1:48:28).

In the postgame, Clavell commends us for saving Paldea, but mentions it has to be kept under wraps. Geeta arrives and gives us a new job of re-battling every Gym Leader as Nemona starts planning a tournament for the Academy. I head off to Turo's lab to look at info on the Paradox Pokémon (2:08:07), then save.
