This is my completely original "Route 1" music theme, designed for the region of Sun & Moon, Alola. Currently we don't know what the music will be, and this is why I've created my own imagining of it.
I had so much fun with this tune. I'm so excited for the Sun & Moon games, and I hope this excitement shines through in my music.
I really wanted to capture the feeling of setting out on your adventure for the first time in Alola; you've left your home behind, and now you're on the first route of your new journey. You have your new companion by your side, the two of you full of excitement as your make your way down the scenic route. The sun shining above, the blue sky beams with pride as it watches over you. The trees seem to be dancing to an ever-lasting rhythm of pure joy, and the ocean waves nearby wash upon the shore to greet you. So much to take in on your first route - new scents, new sounds, new Pokémon.
The Sun & Moon games aren't even out, yet already I feel I can draw so much inspiration from the creature designs we've seen so far, the characters, the islands of Alola...everything so far seems so rich with detail and charm, and I'm praying that the final soundtrack will deliver. In the meantime I'll be creating more fan-made music for Sun & Moon, so stay tuned.
