Played on an original N64 (PAL) cartridge, and recorded via high-speed USB with the Expansion Pak this my quest to fully complete Pokémon Stadium on both R-1 and R-2 which I've never done before! This is video #18/?? in the ongoing series!...
No.18 is the next battle of the Gym Leader Castle! It all starts with 3 Viridian Gym trainers and then its leader Giovani as the final fight - Giovani likes to use mostly Ground types with 1-hit K.O moves. I really like how these Gyms are also visually themed it's a shame there aren't 8 trainers to battle per Gym like in the Stadium part of the game, plus the battle theme music is great!
18 uploads in and all 8 Gym Leaders are now complete (not counting the Elite 4 and the Rival which are next!) on R-1 mode! I'm definitely looking forward to R-2 mode for sure I think that'll be a nice challenge! I'm now looking forward to smashing up the Elite 4 and putting Mewtwo in his place after though! Nostalgia to the max and gaming heaven!! :)
Because I have the option to use Pokémon from the L50-55 Poké Cup and L100 Prime Cup in the Gym Leader Castle I can continue mixing it up when choosing my team of Pokémon, and maybe level-up some more of mine to L100 to join Mewtwo, Venusaur and Zapdos and make a complete team of 6. The other 3 will be Articuno, Gengar and either Electabuzz or Jolteon, or both! Hopefully won't take too long with the Dodrio GB Tower! :)
It looks like this series will have a total of 40 uploads as it will take 2 more to complete R-1 mode and I'm guessing another 20 to complete R-2 mode :) I doubt I'll be doing the Kid's Club games though unless someone really wants me to after.
I still have 15 more stars in Super Mario 64 to upload and will be alternating uploads so both are 100% :) I'm still in the process of putting definitive teams together for the R-2 mode here, so yeah, I've invested in this game. I figured completing this game 100% is a big project I may as well do it the best I can :) I'm thinking about getting that Starmie for R-2 Poké Cup... what do you think? Feedback appreciated! Or is there a Pokémon you want to see me use!? Tell me and I'll see if I can get it in my lineup and get a win from it for my subscribers!
