The easy quiz is mostly a matter of recalling what point you can ring in on each question, and reacting to the information you're given at that point. On hard, the same principle applies, but there's also the aspect of having to recall many random Pokemon facts and figures for some categories of questions. Needless to say, those shouldn't be a problem. Yes, there are questions that have filler information that does nothing but waste time before getting to the substance of the question, and others that make it easy to believe you have the answer when in fact it's ambiguous until late in the question, so the scores won't be as high, but this is what I put up.
After the first couple questions, I go on a long breakaway that left me in prime position to break my hard quiz record. However, a streak of so-called "bad" questions put me on 42 (tying the record) with 2 seconds left, ticking down to 1 after the ring in, and it went so far past the 1 that I only had 0.3 seconds, not enough time to consider the 43rd question, and time ran out. If I had more time, that question was actually answerable with certainty looking only at the choices and not the question.
If you must know, there are no "random guesses" thrown out here, and looking back I see that only the 23rd question had any possibility of being incorrect with the chosen response, based on the amount of the question visible at the time I rung in.
