Here are the numbers for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet over the course of February 2026 for double battles.It is the penultimate month of Season 40, which is in turn the penultimate season for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Starting April will be Season 41, the final season for Ranked Scarlet and Violet, using Regulation I (two Restricted Pokémon allowed per team), and it will remain that way indefinitely, at least until the servers stop hosting the game. For now, here are the top 75:

You can see that there was not that much movement on this list from month to month, and I’m guessing there won’t be much movement from here on out. After all, one of the biggest shifts is happening soon: a move to Pokémon Champions, where they’re presumably going to watch these lists more carefully. Until Iron Jugulis at 37th, there was no shift of more than 3 spots by any Pokémon.
No doubt that Pokémon HOME will start showing similar data for Pokémon Champions, for that matter, and when they do, I intend to document that too. I don’t know when they’ll begin, though Season 41 being indefinite suggests they intend a full move of the competitive side of the franchise there.

I’ve seen enough openers like these to understand the deal: Indeedee’s Psychic Surge activates, allowing stronger Expanding Force attacks. Volt Switch turned out to be handier than I expected though, allowing me a switch in knowing Iron Crown’s Tera type—a gutsy decision knowing I have an Electric-type on the field. It could be that they figured I would expect Follow Me, but even if they do, I target the Pokémon as if there is no redirection…in the event there isn’t any redirection.
Them starting with two Psychic-type special attackers, though, opens me up for Mightyena to use Snarl, which hits super-effectively and will always lower their Sp. Attack. This damage reduction allowed Feraligatr to withstand an Expanding Force attack and…probably gave the impression that the Pokémon on my team were a lot more resilient than they actually were.
Mightyena, in particular, got to take a lot of hits, both from immunity to Psychic-type moves as bestowed by her Dark typing, and from lowering Sp. Attack. I may well have been the only one who entered this Online Competition with a Mightyena. There's no way for me to know though.
