We go back to Quasartico Inc. to speak to Jett (2:49), who tells us why they are involved with the Rogue Mega Evolution situation. After exploring Wild Zone 19, I head back to Hotel Z (11:36) where we have another strategy meeting going over the final group of rogue Mega Pokémon: Dragonite, Tyranitar, and Starmie. It took a bit of time to figure out how to get up there, but I finally team up with Taunie to take on Mega Dragonite (21:51) and obtain the Dragoninite (29:27). I team up with Naveen to take on Mega Tyranitar (32:29) and obtain the Tyranitarite (37:24). I get rid of some Beldum (40:22) in order to meet up with Lida, but I first have to battle Philippe (43:35). I team up with Lida to take on the new Mega Starmie (48:02) and obtain the Starminite (52:59).
Night falls right after, so I rack up points (56:58) for the next Challenge Ticket. I’m able to obtain all 45,000 points needed in one night, which bodes well for the postgame. With it in hand, I head back to Hotel Z (1:13:38) and find out who the next promotion rank opponent is, Grisham. Since no one knows who he is, we go to ask Emma for help, who asks for a battle first (1:18:45). Afterwards, she tells us that an ex-member of Team Flare might know who he is, so I talk to Mable (1:23:06) who tells us to go to Nouveau Café where I finally meet Grisham (1:25:29), who is the boss of Team Flare Nouveau. He tries to explain to us that Team Flare used to be a good group, and he is trying to restore their reputation. He tells us to meet him at Lysandre Café (1:28:19) and I have a battle with Griselle (1:30:07). Afterward, he tells us to go down into the Lysandre Labs (1:35:13) to find out about the truth of AZ. Partway through, I’m forced to fight an Alpha Aegislash (1:46:34) and finally obtain the Elevator Key (1:47:41). With it, I’m finally able to go to B3F (1:49:10) to find out the truth about what AZ did 3,000 years ago. Not only did he create the Ultimate Weapon, he created another device that lies with Prism Tower that is causing the rogue Mega Evolutions in the first place. I talk to Grisham (1:54:50) and he tells us what he truly wants, then I save.
