Now that the story is finished, I start working on the remaining Side Missions. This video is a long one, so I’ll try to timrstamp everything. I start talking to the new TM vendor (1:34) and he has a new mission, for you to buy four drives off him. The cost 540 Mega Shards each, so it’ll take a bit of hunting to get all four of them, so I go through some Hyperspace Wild Zones and eventually get all four. I eventually get 25,000 survey points and talk to Corbeau and Philippe to start a Special Scan (1:06:30). The first one is a five star wild zone, so I make a donut with Big Haul Lv. 3 and Item Power: Special Lv. 3 (1:10:17) and a donut with Big Haul Lv. 3 and Item Power: Berries Lv. 3 (1:11:39). I enter the zone (1:13:27) with the Item Power Special boost and obtain all of the special evolution items that I will need to complete the Hyperspace Pokédex (Upgrade, Dubious Disk, Prism Scale, Black Augurite, Malicious Armor, and Auspicious Armor). Note that the Armors can only be found in five star zones, so make sure to use them there. I complete a couple side missions, enter more hyperspace zones, and run another special scan (1:46:04), which gives a five star Wild Zone with Gimmighoul (1:47:24).
I decide to grind out some more survey points, and make my way to a Mega Golisopod (2:09:15). After defeating it, I get the Golisopite (2:11:27). I face a Mega Chimecho (2:19:41) and obtain a Chimechite (2:22:42). With enough points, I run my third Special Scan (2:33:31), which is another five star wild zone that has fossil Pokémon. I run a fourth Special Scan (3:17:14) which has a five star wild zone with the Frigibax line along with Hisuian Sligoo/Goodra. I make sure to catch one of each for my Living Dex, which takes a while due to their low catch rate. I try to see if restoring a backup save helps with changing Pokémon that appear in hyperspace wild zones (3:39:09), but it doesn’t seem to work out, so I go back to the bench method for that. I eventually find a wild zone with Feebas (3:44:58) and catch two along with an extra one that I’ll need to give away. Right after, I catch an extra Mimikyu (3:52:38) that I will need to give away and a Galarian Yamask (3:59:53) so I can eventually evolve it.
I run my fifth Special Scan (4:08:27) which finally detects an Unknown zone (4:08:54). I enter it (4:17:07) and catch Meloetta in a Poke Ball (4:18:44). I face Mega Golurk (4:22:07) and obtain the Golurkite (4:22:47). I eventually find a Throh (4:33:04) and an Indeedee (4:40:29). With Pokémon needed for Side Missions captured, I finally decide to tackle them. They range from getting a Volcanion (4:52:20) and Magearna (5:02:15) to running a stall for a bit (5:27:58). In the middle of it, I do another Special Scan which results in a five star battle zone (6:13:10). I clear it (6:13:58), getting a whopping 22,000 survey points and continue on with the Side Missions. Another Special Scan at (7:15:31), which gives me a five star zone with fire starters. This is pretty useful since I can catch a couple Torchics and Blaziken (7:20:00). I restart my save quite a bit so I can get all 13,000 survey points inside the zone, then I finally wrap up this part.
