Hey everyone!
So once you get to Driftveil, you can't get to the Gym right away, you have to go up north, and meet the old Team Plasma's Sage, he'll ask you to battle him, and if you do, and defeat him, he'll talk to you and your Rival about some stuff, I assume it's about Neo Plasma. After that conversation, you can talk to him again, and he'll give you N's old Zorua, it's pretty awesome, and after that, you'll be able to get into the Gym and face Clay!
The sage's easy, a Herdier and a Swoobat, Ampz gave Herdier a nice beating, while Toxic got revenge for Swoobats and Woobats taking over the caves Zubats and Golbats used to rule. XD
