Special character 0x52 is used internally in the game to print the player's name in a string of text. If the player's name is somehow corrupted so it contains the 0x52 character, the name will endlessly refer to itself, making it infinite. Forcing the game to actually print or display the infinite name on the screen causes some interesting effects.
