Hey guys! It's been a while. Like 2 weeks but you know, that's a lot in YouTube time. Anyway today is a summer themed remix for the 2019 summer megamix hosted by AlmightyArceus. So I hope you guys enjoy!
So this song was less electronic than a lot of my other stuff, mainly due to me just wanting to try something new. I do like the sound of a drum kit so it was nice messing around with one again. And I feel like mixing electronic music is way different compared to acoustic stuff due to the softer and calmer sounds you get out of recorded instruments. Anyway I'm not even sure what genre this would be lol
So if you guys may or may not have noticed, my titles are all different. and that was mainly because I've seen a lot of people comment things like "whoa I didn't even know Kamex made this" after a while. So I thought maybe this would help people not be confused whenever they come across my music. Since it's pretty apparent that my style evolves a lot over time so it's understandable as to why people forget who made what, unless they have a distinctive sound signature. Which changes for me every year or so anyway so it can get confusing lol

Heres another remix Ive spent sitting hours at a time making, because college isnt standing in the way of my life! For now... xD
So this ones pretty different. I went for a Disco-like type of genre. Im not sure why but it was fun and it helped me explore something new. I was listening to Hideki Naganumas stuff and I wanted to create something similar to the really funky basslines he makes, and it ended up turning into something a lot more than that. At the time, I realized I had no direction for a field of hopes and dreams remix soooo voila! This was born. Ive had so much fun with this, and I usually do when I try new things. Hope you guys enjoy this because I definitely put my all into this one!

So its been a while since I did pokemon stuff huh? Yeah, apologies to the pokemon fans who follow me. Ive been just focusing on other franchises (Mainly Deltarune and Undertale, lets not beat around the bush) for a while since pokemon has kinda lost its charm for me in the later years. Though Im really hoping the new games on the switch will turn that around for me, since it does kinda stink that something that has pretty much got me started to where I am today just doesnt have that same spark anymore. Im still hopeful and Ive still been buying each game since. I even have lets go pikachu lol
Ive asked you guys in the community post what you wanted, and the top voted comment was asking for a Team Galactic Admin remix. Which is pretty cool since I dont think Ive ever done that before, only a team galactic grunt remix from 5 years ago (yep, 2014!) and all of my grunt remixes were very well received which was what started my YouTube journey for real. So yall OGs who have been following me since then, let me know!
