Hey guys! Here is a Marnie remix from pokemon sword and shield. I guess I've grown to like her theme after being commissioned to do a remix of it, so thank you DariusZarua for commissioning me!
Sorry for the silence for two weeks. I had to take care of myself since I was really really sick but I think I'm better now so yay! Here is a Trance-ish remix commissioned by someone who goes by the name of DariusZarua. He wanted a Trance vibe with this one so I tried my best.
This one was really frustrating. Just trying to mix everything and having to try to fit the song into the genre. It seemed like it could work but the bpm of usual trance (138bpm iirc) was way too slow for this song so I bumped it up to 150. It took a while to get used to since I started this remix with 138 at first but after a while it felt natural since it was closer to the original song's tempo. For this one I played it a bit safe as I usually do with Pokemon songs but this time it was because it was a commission, so I didn't want to get too fancy in case the customer doesn't like it. Fortunately however, he did.
As for life, I have been pushing on. I got the Flu a while ago and with that got my head to hurt, my eyes to be sensitive to light, my appetite to disappear, my thirst to become nonexistent, sore throat and with that my mental health started to go down too. I had no energy since I could barely eat, and thoughts started to get dark. But recently I've been pulling myself together and getting better so hopefully It's just uphill from here.

So its been a while since I did pokemon stuff huh? Yeah, apologies to the pokemon fans who follow me. Ive been just focusing on other franchises (Mainly Deltarune and Undertale, lets not beat around the bush) for a while since pokemon has kinda lost its charm for me in the later years. Though Im really hoping the new games on the switch will turn that around for me, since it does kinda stink that something that has pretty much got me started to where I am today just doesnt have that same spark anymore. Im still hopeful and Ive still been buying each game since. I even have lets go pikachu lol
Ive asked you guys in the community post what you wanted, and the top voted comment was asking for a Team Galactic Admin remix. Which is pretty cool since I dont think Ive ever done that before, only a team galactic grunt remix from 5 years ago (yep, 2014!) and all of my grunt remixes were very well received which was what started my YouTube journey for real. So yall OGs who have been following me since then, let me know!

So this is an Original theme composed for Fatal Error in Aftertale. I named it file not found, but I stink at coming up with names so shara helped me with that one lol.
She recently made a theme for Fatal Error and I thought it was amazing, easily one of my favorites from her. So I was inspired to do one myself. Oh I should mention, this is fully original, which is a first for a while lol. I havent made an original since the horrortale one and before that, monster.
For this one, I went for DnB. This one leaned more towards neuro but there are other elements from other genres like a softer reese (towards the end of the song) some distorted kicks, glitch effects, the works. Im pretty happy with how this one came out. Ive been messing around with some samples and stuff trying to get some new sounds off splice. Its been a great website so far, albeit kinda hard to find extremely good sounds since Im very picky with them.
Mixing this wasnt too bad, I dont usually mix loud so a lot of my habits of being too conservative with levels had to be broken. Eventually I got used to how it sounded and it ended up being alright. trying to make the basses sound really loud to fill the space was pretty difficult especially when it comes to fitting loud drums on top. Thank god for sidechaining. Oh! I should probably mention the distortion at around 1:55 was intentional. I know its not usually what I do but I thought I could experiment with distortion and loudness for the feel of Fatal Error. I tried pulling up a picture of Fatal Error sans while composing this to see if it can help with the inspiration, so heres the end result! I hope you guys enjoy!

It starts off a little slow but wait until 0:23 kicks in, trust me. I was commissioned by a friend to write an original song for her OC who is this mech war bot dude. Hes also quite handsome 😳
I usually dont upload commissions to my main channel, but I feel like this is one of my better compositions in a while so I thought why not?
Thanks to her for commissioning me, this was really fun to make. Everything just felt like it fell into place once I got the mixing down. Though mixing a drum kit is still really hard. My biggest issue is keeping the punch of the kick while not letting the lower frequencies of the kick throw the mix off balance. Usually I sidechain with a super high compression ratio to make the drums come out more clear but the shape of the transient doesnt seem to make it easy, as it just sounds like the mix is cutting in and out rather than making room for the drums.
