its a tentaquil

I routed an Any% Glitchless speedrun of a funny little FireRed hack featuring a well-known meme: the fanmade Pokemon tentaquil! This was super fun to route! I realised even more how much I love routing and I had a blast figuring out the ins and outs of this run and how to go faster :)

The Sabrina fight is by far the most interesting part of the route and I believe it even makes the run possible at all. Watch and see what happens there..

tentaquil is a Bug/Psychic type with 100 in every base stat. It also learns high-powered moves early on, such as Surf and Aerial Ace. The earlygame is a breeze because of this. However, once you reach Silph Co, the enemy Pokemon have caught up with tentaquil's high stats and you will start using X items. You're weak to Pidgeot as well, which makes things risky. Blaine is also a risky fight. Other than that, the it's usual suspects: the Elite Four. Except for Bruno.

I somehow got this run on my first try! Of course my experience with the Charmander route helps a lot, but I'm really happy that I managed to not only manip the tentaquil I wanted 1st try, but I also cleared the game 1st try! :D The Champion fight was so scary too!
This felt awesome :)

My tentaquil had a Rash nature with these IVs: HP 13, Atk 31, Def 3, SAtk 27, SDef 20, Spe 30. The low Defense stat was especially noticeable on the lategame Rival fights..
