In Emerald Rogue weather is an incredibly important mechanic to learn, as some gym leaders will use it to gain an upper hand against the player, if used correctly the player can turn the tides of battle using weather, with the one of best options being "weather setters", in this video I will tackle Drought & Harsh Sunlight, which Pokemon get this ability, and how good they are.
Pokemon Emerald Rogue is a Pokemon Emerald rom hack that takes the core gameplay of Pokemon and turns it into a roguelike, this means areas are randomly generated using pre-existing routes, perma-death similar to a nuzlocke, and randomized trainer teams with gym leaders still being type based, there are a ton of customizable options like difficulty, item spawn rates, level caps, and so much more.
You can download the rom hack from PokeCommunity (link below), I do not recommend downloading it from other websites as they can be sketchy, there are many patching tutorials so it’s not hard to get the file to work.
