All of Caterpie, Butterfree, and Beedrill's voice clips from Pokemon Channel, provided by Rikako Aikawa and Shinichiro Miki respectively. All 3 of these Pokemon can be found in Viridian Forest, with only Metapod being missing from Caterpie's evolution line and both Weedle and Kakuna being missing from Beedrill's. It's strongly implied that all 3 of these Pokemon shown here are the same as Ash's from the anime, although it's debatable given that Ash's Caterpie evolved into Butterfree early on in the anime.
