Gasp! A singles battle from me? I can't deny that I love doubles battles, but my opponents don't always care for them.
Tokyo wanted to have a singles battle using rental passes that the game gave us. I chose Daisy and he chose Cyndy. It was actually a pretty interesting battle and it was another close one.
Singles require just as much strategy as doubles. Switching, status effects, attacks... they all have their purpose along with their strengths and weaknesses. The flow of battle, in both singles and doubles, comes full circle. Pokemon rely on their trainer and the trainer relies on his Pokemon. Looking back on this video, I think I relearned quite a bit from Tokyo in this match.
