Nagaland Director General of Police (DPG) Rupin Sharma on Saturday said that Robert Kikon, a wanted accused in a POCSO case, has fled to Southeast Asian countries and is currently believed to be in an undisclosed nation in the region.
“Robert Kikon was not in India. We were told that he had fled to some Southeast Asian countries. We were able to trace him to Cambodia. Then we were able to trace him to Vietnam, where he entered under a different passport. We are told that he is probably in another Southeast Asian country as of now. We are trying to follow up,” Sharma told reporters in Dimapur on Saturday evening.
