For years I've been using BeyondPod to listen to podcasts, but then I needed a cross platform podcast player, so I tried Google Podcasts. I found a few issues with that so moved to Pocket Casts and find it to be so well featured, I can't see myself using any other podcast player.

From automatic skipping the start of certain podcasts, to clever use of an up next queue, this podcast player has everything you could need and syncs across Android and iOS.
