My first Umigi, the A7 Pro. This device is clearly placed at the budget end of the smartphone spectrum at £140 in the UK, but how does it perform for that price?


The Umidigi A7 Pro performs quite well for something of it's price. Although it doesn't benchmark too highly on Geekbench 5, with it's stock Android experience it's smooth enough in use and is powerful enough to game, with me enjoying Mario Kart Tour no problem at all.


The Umidigi's screen is lovely, bright and vibrant with reasonable viewing angles, the speakers are nice and clear and the battery lasts very well. The only issue I could really find was with the camera, which struggled a little, expecially in video recording.
