Today we’re sharing our last port day of this amazing 14-day Mediterranean cruise on P&O Arvia — and what better way to end than in beautiful Cádiz, Spain!
Cádiz, hiding down on the South Western tip of Spain in it's Andalucia region, is often said to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in Western Europe, with over 3,000 years of history. From the Phoenicians and Romans to Spain’s Golden Age of exploration, this city has seen it all. Walking through the narrow cobbled streets, relaxing in shady plazas, visiting the Cádiz Cathedral, climbing the Torre Tavira for stunning views, or just heading for a day on the beach — there’s so much here to discover. And of course, you can’t miss the tapas and the sea views along the city’s ancient walls!
It’s always a little bittersweet when a holiday starts to wind down. After Cádiz, we have just two sea days left before arriving back home. We’ll be soaking up every last moment of sunshine, sea views, and cruise life before it’s time to say goodbye.
