Boom baby **kicks door open dramatically** I bet you didn't expect to see this coming from me XD

I don't even know where to start!
Um....okay.....let's try to break this up into sections:


First off, (just to be clear) this is NOT my "recently-joined-fandom" that I mentioned a couple videos back. Those edits have been temporarily put on hold. Sorry!

Now that that's out of the way....

Most of you probably didn't know this about me, but I'm a BIG Warriors fan!!! I have been for just over a year now (I'm sure that's still considered as a "newcomer" to a lot of you XP) and I don't have any intention on leaving the fandom anytime soon ;D

So far I've read the entire series of "The Prophecies Begin", and "Dawn of the Clans", along with a handful of solo books (Bluestar's Prophecy, Yellowfang's secret, Crookedstar's Promise, Mapleshade's vengeance, and Goosefeather's curse). So anything beyond those.....no spoilers please! Although, thanks to the world of YouTube/Internet, I've probably already got close to all the spoilers you'd throw at me anyway XP

I plan on reading "A New Prophecy" next. Although honestly, I'm more just excited to work my way through so that I can read "Power of three", lol ;P


Secondly, I LOVE to draw. I've loved to draw for as long as I can possibly remember! I've always been kinda interested in graphic art, but it wasn't until just recently that I started getting a real desire try it out for myself (maybe it was from watching all those other Warrior vids by fellow Youtubbers XD), so, about a month ago I purchased the "necessary" supplies and decided to give it a go! Now, I'll admit, nothing can quite beat the feeling of having a good ol' sheet of paper and pencil in hand, but I have been absolutely LOVING creating digital art! It is SO much fun! And there's endless possibilities to explore! It really brings everything to a whole other level!


As for the video itself, I know it's a pretty simple edit--short too. This is really just me getting into the feel of things. Don't worry, I definitely have some bigger future projects in mind too ;)

Overall, I'm not quite sure how I feel with the result of this video.....I definitely had a lot of fun making it though!

For whatever reason though, a couple of the pictures ended up with a "grainy" look. That's rather frustrating. Plus Oakheart ended up turning out more orange then I would have liked....but I guess it wasn't a big enough deal for me to go back and recolor everything I'd already finished. So I just went ahead and added it my list of mental notes for the future ;)

Also, I had a lot of trouble with that "three in one" picture of them climbing the tree. I'm still not very happy with how it turned out, but I was getting sick and tired of working on the same picture, and I knew that if I kept putting off the rest of the video because of it, it would eventually be added to my (massive) pile of unfinished projects.....and I wasn't going to let that happen!

Bluestar is one of my favorite characters, and this specific scene was one of my favorites from her solo story!!! I know she gets a lot of hate because of the way she changed after Tigerclaw's betrayal--and yes, I'll admit that there were times that I wound up more then a little frustrated at her myself--but, (while I didn't realize it at the time) I think it's a part of those very flaws that draw me to her....especially after reading "Bluestar's prophecy." I see a lot of myself in her--I can relate--and that makes her all the more special to me. I'm not justifying her behavior, or many of the actions that she took during that time, but I realize that no one is perfect--not even her--and in the end, as Firestar said, she died as she lived....protecting her clan =)

ANYWAY, I'm going to go now......it's going to take you way longer to read my description then it will to watch the video itself XP
