Today I bring you Saki Kurokomas theme, the extra boss from Touhou 17 Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.
When I heard this song for the first time it did not attract much attention to me. It reminded me of Futatsuiwa From Sado because of the techno style it has at the beginning, but I ended lovin this theme really fast.
As always happens to me, I adore the piano in this theme, the progressions are excellent, and above all I love the bass of this theme, it is so reminiscent of the old songs of ZUN ...

Este tema la verdad es que me gusta, pero aun así no me acaba de convencer. Por si fuera poco no etsoy nada orgulloso de este arreglo, rehice este tema 3 veces, y sigue sin acabar de convencerme, eso sin contar que no conseguí emular el platillo tan característico del inicio del tema.

I have weird feelings with this theme, mainly because i like it, but i dont like it at the same time, i dont really know what to think about this theme.
Even so, im not really proud about this version, ive made about 3 or 4 different versions of this theme, but it still just dont convicig me. I couldnt even emulate that iconic sound at the begining of the theme.

Honestly, this theme never caught my attention. However, I have grown quite fond of him after working with him. Especially the first part of the song gives off a stressful and agitated feeling, but at the same time it complements quite well with the calm and relaxed feeling that the second part of the song transmits ... It is a quite curious theme, I dont know very well how to feel when I listen it.

Today I bring you the second week theme from Touhou 16.5 Violet Detector.
Finally the last theme from Violet Detector. This is undoubtedly the favourute theme for most of the people, and I understand why. I love that it has the essence of the Shoot The Bullet themes, ZUN has been able to bring me memories of those themes while listening to it.
Honestly I had a great time transcribing this song, the lead of the main tune was what I liked the most about this song, getting to set up the Celtic Ens and Retrologue to sound like it was too entertaining. I hope ZUN will follow this line in his next works.

Today I bring you the last theme from the album Trojan Green Asteroid.
Im very fond of this subject, it reminds me in many ways of The Far Side of the Moon, from Magical Astronomy. I love the calm that this song exudes, and it is without a doubt one of my favorite tracks on this album alongside Satellite Torifune. Those ambient background sounds, even though they were a headache to transcribe gives a very characteristic atmosphere to this song.

Today I bring you stage 4th theme from Touhou 17 Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.
Finally Touhou 17 is here, and the truth is that Im really pleased about the result. After the first impression left by the demo, I must say that I am quite happy with how the OST has come out. I like how ZUN is experimenting with new rhythms and progressions, and Im glad to see new instruments in its melodies.
This theme reminds me in a way of Sakuya, perhaps his metal inspiration, since in the words of ZUN, hell is associated with the metal genre and he wanted to print that feeling in this theme.

Hoy os traigo de nuevo el tema de Satori Komeiji, la jefa del stage 4 de Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism.
Posiblemente uno de los temas que mejor se ajustan al personaje de toda la saga. Adoro la originalidad y el ritmo de este tema, y la verdad es que es el tema que más me ha costado rehacer de momento de esta segunda vuelta al OST de Th11.

Possibly one of the themes that best fit the character of the entire saga. I love the originality and rhythm of this theme, and the truth is that it was the hardest theme to transcribe for me in this remakes from Th11.
