Today I bring you stage 4th theme from Touhou 17 Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.
Finally Touhou 17 is here, and the truth is that I'm really pleased about the result. After the first impression left by the demo, I must say that I am quite happy with how the OST has come out. I like how ZUN is experimenting with new rhythms and progressions, and I'm glad to see new instruments in its melodies.
This theme reminds me in a way of Sakuya, perhaps his metal inspiration, since in the words of ZUN, hell is associated with the metal genre and he wanted to print that feeling in this theme.

Hoy os traigo de nuevo el tema de Satori Komeiji, la jefa del stage 4 de Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism.
Posiblemente uno de los temas que mejor se ajustan al personaje de toda la saga. Adoro la originalidad y el ritmo de este tema, y la verdad es que es el tema que más me ha costado rehacer de momento de esta segunda vuelta al OST de Th11.

Possibly one of the themes that best fit the character of the entire saga. I love the originality and rhythm of this theme, and the truth is that it was the hardest theme to transcribe for me in this remakes from Th11.

Today I bring you the next track from the album Trojan Green Asteroid.
As you may already know, Koishi is one of my favorite characters in the series, and not just the character herself, for me her theme is one of the best constructed themes by ZUN. Those irregular bars, the tension accumulated in those transition intervals, how it breaks and releases all the tension in one of the melodies that I love the most in the saga ... This song for me has always been one of the best works of ZUN, and this arrangement is no exception.
The sounds provided by the patch me an Intelligent robot give it a fantastic touch, and the pristine bell adds an even more clamorous touch to the climax of the song. And even so, it preserves all the essence of the original theme in SA.

Today I bring you the next them from the album Trojan Green Asteroid.
The sax combination in this theme is simply sublime, and ZUNs use of the trilian in the first part of the song has always surprised me a lot. It is normal that, from this album, this is one of the favorite songs by people.
Personally, the piano counterpoint in this song shines remarkably. I love that double melody accompanying the saxes, especially the fragment from 1:36 ...
