Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a series of high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek with the leaders of Iran, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Discussions covered bilateral relations, regional and global developments, the West Asia conflict, defence, trade, technology, education and people-to-people ties. PM Modi reiterated India’s call for dialogue and diplomacy to resolve conflicts and stressed the need to protect civilians, commercial shipping and freedom of navigation.
