Factory edges cannot be trusted if accuracy is important. They are never perfectly straight or square. Some of the edges on these sheets are off square 1/8" per foot. That is 1/2" over a span of 4 feet! Terrible things would happen to my frames if that kind of error was ignored. This simple jig makes a clean square edge with a trim router. I set this up outside because I don't have much room in the shop. Cutting up 23 sheets to make 200 frames as per the standard yearly order for canvas stretcher frames.
