"Pluviam Frigus (Cold Rain)" - a spontaneous improvisation for solo lyre, inspired by the present miserable British weather, of April showers in March!

In attempting to evoke the feeling of being in cold rain, I use the sharp, cold and pentrating timbre of harmonics. the drizzly feel of soft finger-plucked chords (created by blocking and strumming specific strings in the left hand whilst strumming the desired open strings with my right hand) and the feeling of the movement of raindrops by the use of a later rapidly repeated motif in 5ths in the left hand.
