I wrote this song in 2015, in response to the murder of Iranian asylum seeker Reza Barati, at the Manus Island Regional Processing Centre:

Australia is a country with a long history of immigration, in many cases people fleeing war or the aftermath of war. It is horrific that some of the response to the terrorist killings at Bondi Beach last weekend is to attack immigration as the cause.
That same rhetoric was aired at rallies organized by Nazi affiliated groups in Melbourne in September.
This is the final re-recording for my revisit to the album I first published in January 2016, the release is on track for 1 January 2026. Ten years of writing songs and making music, and still largely driven by social justice issues.
