RetroDepth is a new VR emulator which dynamically transforms classic 2D SNES, Genesis and Arcade games into playable 3D voxel dioramas. It has a very similar 3D pop-out effect similar to 3dSen VR (The NES VR Emulator). This video shows off the PC version. Links for the PC version and Quest sideload/apk version can be found below. Please read the 'Setup Readme' info included below.
So far, I've tested Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles, Crusader of Centy, Super Mario World, Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Kirby Super Star, Kirby Dream Land 3, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2 and Super Metroid. Many more are playable, but some games don't currently work like: Chrono Trigger, Star Fox and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, to name a few. And it seems like Genesis games have higher compatibility. Hopefully, we get more updates in the future!
