A Day of Small Things | Planning September 2023 reading // Shaketember @adayofsmallthings | Uploaded August 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Shaketember is almost upon us, where we’ll spend the month of September having fun with Shakespeare’s plays. I’m co-hosting it this year with Jason from Old Blue’s Chapter and Verse, and Kelly from Books I’m Not Reading. In this video, I’m going to share what I’d like to read and watch in September. Some of them are core text, like the plays themselves, I’ll show you the different editions I’m using. Some are essays or books written by Shakespeare scholars, which hopefully will help me understand the plays better. Three give larger context to the plays, which I’m very excited about. There are also two novels.
