I just wanted to give you a quick update on the music progress so far. We're busy composing each on our own, coming up with various ideas and styles. As David has explained earlier, the system limitations and storage medium will limit how many and how complex the music will be - this is just how the XT and old DOS computers roll I'm afraid. But there will be some pretty awesome music in the game, nonetheless. Noah has been assigned to do most if not all of the conversions using the new tracker software since he's well adversed in Adlib Tracker and similar programs. This frees up a lot of time for me to focus on just composing for the MT-32 and doing the artwork/game design for the boxes, manuals and other stuff.
Right now we don't have much to show in terms of completed material, but I have my initial intro sequence which most of you have seen already, plus one in-game track that's completed. I won't reveal that one just yet, but I can show you my take on the menu music as it was completed yesterday. We'll see how Noah can translate it down to the "lesser" sound systems and if it makes it into the game. Remains to be seen.
Anyway, I have plans of including all these MT-32 versions and all of the other guys' work on either platforms in the official soundtrack so it will be quite extensive and available down the road.
