In 1988 Adobe released Illustrator 88 (originally v. 1.7, but this was the public name). My good friend, Alexander Brandon shared this old video with the demonstration of all the features Illustrator had at the time, and the music was so catchy that I felt the urge to do a revamp, or sort of remix.
The Original song is actually from Leon Berger and his «Heatseeker» (open.spotify.com/track/3B1DOjGTVnechWrspsP15w?si=JR7-nktuQtWyHJ79ELdHZQ) Thanks to user @Houston Helicopter Tours for pointing this out ;)
Original demo: youtu.be/5NPUVs06iyU - Note that it starts with a lot of noise first, so keep the volume down. Music starts about halfway through. Pretty funky stuff, right? Straight out of Links - The Challenge of Golf! :D
Now, when I had finished my revamp and extrapolation of the parts that weren't there, I of course found the FULL Adobe Illustrator presentation, which of course came with the complete song and more late 80s corporate synth pop music. Sigh! youtu.be/3ctLAKFsol0 . Ah well, sometimes you miss. But hopefully, this version is just good enough. Thanks to whomever composed the original music for Adobe's presentation videos. If you happen to know who that is, leave a comment below. ;)
And yeah, for those with perfect pitch: The original is in Ab but I transposed it up +1 so I could play in G. Sorry about that. ;)
