A plane flew over downtown Nashville, Tennessee on Friday towing a banner promoting a petition calling for Nashville International Airport to be renamed after Dolly Parton.

The beloved singer, songwriter and philanthropist died Tuesday in Nashville at age 80.

The banner urged people to sign the petition to rename the airport in honor of Parton, whose decades-long career helped make her one of the most recognizable figures in country music and one of Tennessee’s most celebrated cultural icons.
