this is an original composition commissioned by seasonal clown frown (@/ElPonchitoPio) for their oc (idfk what their name is). they had a melody and two short demos sent to me as reference;
hes fierce looking with a lax personality, and I tried to design a melody that sort of evoked that but I dont know how well that reads, so if theres any adjustments along the way you feel would fit the vibe better or compliment him better youre more than free to make them
i didnt really follow the rules given
never been asked to write original compositions for commissions either
they liked it though so i guess its not an issue
so basically i made this theme after listening to a lot, and i mean a lot of yu-no (by ryu umemoto and ryu takami!) took some liberties from lovers/ creatures of aether too, and ive been finding out how to get that kind of sound for a while... honestly pretty great that it turned out like this
bizarre cover art is for the clicks because honestly a lot of my original songs have very bizarre names either way

Another week comes another random upload that isnt really that predictable.
This is a Hybrid Front styled arrange of Woofles many (unofficial) alternative tracks written for Sonic 3. Ive only been exploring their SoundCloud acc. a few days ago listening to whatever could pique my interest. I then encountered the S3 alternate tracks they made, and while they were written nicely, they didnt exactly age well. I mean, come on; they were released around 2015 so its fairly reasonable.
I did set out into arranging at least one of said tracks, and this is one of them. I needed to get used to making music for the SEGA Mega Drive again since Im so busy with school (most notably in live performing for it) that Ive got an art block of sorts, so this was a decent warmup.
The Hybrid Fronts style was a choice I made because the games music is usually either associated or mistaken to be Sonic music due to a few ROM hacks using them, I think more familiarly in Sonic Megamix. I dont blame people for thinking that, and I set out to actually evoke the feeling that this music would belong in a ROM hack but originated elsewhere.
Also, for the people curious: considering the fact that YT loves giving less attention for channels that dont upload frequently/ take long breaks Im deciding on uploading weekly now. A nice balance between my school work and channel management. Fun!
