inb4 "no way majin sonic fnf?!"
Copy-pasted from my Twitter, "Before anyone attacks me for working on an fnf mod because it's "cringe"
FNF: MD Collection is basically a passion project of mine. The goal is to introduce more unmentioned Mega Drive titles as well as their musical styles in the FNF community excluding Sonic.
I constantly nag about how "all people know from the MD is Sonic" and now I'm taking action on that. I'm not expecting myself to create some sort of revolution but it will definitely benefit a lot of people. I'm doing things that haven't been done yet for a chance to see changes.
Only the music will be worked on for now because well, I'm a musician. Mastering each game's musical style is my priority. This won't be an official mod or anything till said otherwise. 1 week, 5 songs."
Though not really interested in beat-em-ups due to me being bad I enjoyed playing Streets Of Rage 2 at the very least. At the time house on the Mega Drive was an entirely new thing that no one really came to think about till Yuzo Koshiro, and he's made some of the most memorable OSTs ever with the Streets Of Rage series. One person in the comments constantly asked for SoR to be in MDC once they found it, and while I was annoyed at them I had no choice but to include it in since we've had too many platformers in the playlist already.
But yeah, the first week's music is all completed. Don't have to think too much about this once I'm done with everything till annoying children appear in the comment section.
For this song you're going against or well, teaming up with Blaze Fielding and Eddie "Skate" Hunter in taking the Syndicate henchmen down while ascending a building with an elevator outside like in SoR. Simple enough premise. BF's section goes on for so long because both Blaze and Skate had taken too long on their turns, so I had to come up with a compromise. I'd say this is probably one of the weaker tracks for the main week since I didn't feel exactly confident trying to write riffs for BF's 8 bar solo. Blaze will be playing the violin and Skate will be on the trumpet.
