For years, PixInsight has been the expensive gold standard, but it never
had its own AI. If you wanted modern AI noise reduction, you had to buy a
third party tool on top of your already expensive license. That just
changed: PixInsight released MLDenoise, its first native AI denoise tool.

So I tested it right away against the tool everyone actually uses,
NoiseXTerminator. Same image, same calibrated data, a fair head to head.

Important: MLDenoise is a technology preview, Mac Apple Silicon only for
now, and clearly labelled as early work. I judged it as a preview, fairly.
But I show you honestly where it stands today, with the results zoomed in
so you can see for yourself.
