My father was formerly a draftsman for the Pitt Des Moines Steel Company. He worked for the company for around 40 years, starting out in the shop and moving up through the ranks. He took early retirement in 2001 when the company was purchased by Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., and closed their Neville Island office. and relocated to Texas. The PDM name still survives today, and the company is based out of California.
Over the next week I will be uploading some footage that my father has on VHS tape from the time he worked for the company. Hope you enjoy!
