A recording of a Facebook live kept at Finnabair and Friends Open Studio FB group on June 11th. The topic of the live was making a small assemblage using moulded elements.

During the live I made a little assemblage using a chipboard frame, crackle paste and a silicone mould. I fill the mould using my favorite casting medium, hot glue. I then treat the pieces using black gesso and copper toned wax to turn them into plumbing. I add some interest to the background using an old book page, some tapes and watercolor. Lastly I perch the fairies on top of the pipes.
