A process video showing me create an art journal spread I titled "Metamorphosis".

I start the page by painting a sheet of cardstock in inky blue tones. I then add visual texture or a pattern on top using a stencil and wax crayons. Instead of applying a medium through the stencil I make a rubbing of it - a frottage. I then make some layering elements using a floral stamp, watermark ink and white embossing powder. I use an old photo die-cut and a cut-out picture of an old typewriter as my focal point and compliment those with the stamped florals, cut-out elements and a strip from an old bedsheet. I finish the spread with a journaling strip and then adhere the pages to my art journal.
