Located in north Phoenix, the Pioneer Living History Museum is a 90-acre open-air museum that transports visitors back to the Arizona Territory between 1863 and 1912.

This recreated frontier town features over 30 historic buildings—some authentic and relocated—including the childhood home of Arizona’s first senator and the defensively designed Flying V cabin.

Walk along shaded paths to explore old-time shops, a church, a schoolhouse, and even a telephone museum.
This immersive, family-friendly site offers a vivid look into the everyday lives, struggles, and resilience of early pioneers who helped shape the American West.
